Whitney Negrete
I was born to a family with two loving parents,
Steve and Shellee Daniels, where I was blessed to be their one and only child!
I grew up in a town outside of Boise, Idaho called Kuna. I lived there until I
was in 8th grade and my parents decided to move back to my dad’s
hometown, Malad Idaho; where we worked with my grandparents on their Black
Angus Cattle Ranch. I attended High school there, where I was involved in FFA,
Student Government, Honors List, Lifeguarding, Swimming Instructor, Track,
Basketball, Soccer, and helped children with special needs. I graduated from
Malad High School in 2011 and decided I would attend college at Utah State
University in Logan, Utah. I have a strong passion to educate people about the
importance of agriculture and the essential products that we (farmers/ranchers)
produce. That is why I choose to major in Agricultural Communications and Journalism. In the future I plan to work for the USDA in the communications/public
relations sector and gain a never-ending love for the agriculture!
Zach Waxler
I came to Utah State to be a part of the golf team. I am majoring in
Public Relations with a minor in Business Marketing. I enjoy hunting,

marketing company for a credit card business.
